Who's the star in this movie? Cha Tae Hyun! He's the king of comedy movies. Seeing him as the main character, we can guess that the movie must be hilarious and of course it is. The story tells about Duk Moo (played by Cha Tae Hyun), a son of a nobleman but from a concubine. He sold books for he couldn't get government position due to his mother's background. At that time, ice was an expensive commodity and controlled by a royal family. The most powerful nobleman wanted to get the exclusive right for the ice. In order to stop the nobleman, Duk Moo and his friends planned to steal the ice.
Duk Moo met Dong Soo (Oh Ji Ho) a public officer who was in charge of the ice warehouse. Dong Soo joined Duk Moo to save the ice's price from dirty nobleman's trick. Duk Moo made a plan to steal the ices from the warehouse. The plan was to make an underground tunnel and set bombs along tunnel. When everything was set, the bomb would blow up and the ices could go to the river. Later, Duk Moo gathered his qualified friends in their own field one by one. A man who was great at digging ground and making underground tunnel, a man who was specialized in making bomb, a man who was good at disguising, a gisaeng who had up-to-date information, and a woman who was great at diving. Along with some other people, eleven people worked together applying the plan.
