After Lee Yoo Ri, I'll talk about Song Jong Ho, the actor who plays in The Promise too. He's playing as Hwi Kyung, an heir of Baekdo Group and a fiance of Baek Do Hee. His character is sweet and lovable yet pitiful. Hwi Kyung had to be framed as a playboy for covering his ex-wife's affair. Though actually he did it for covering his mother's past. Slowly, he opened his heart for Do Hee but after Do Hee's accident, he didn't know that Do Hee actually had died.

[ACTRESS] LEE YOO RI; The Queen of Antagonist

I saw Lee Yoo Ri for the first time is in the series Come! Jang Bo Ri as Kim Min Jung, the most mischievous and cruelest villain. lol. But, because of that character, I fell for her. She's a great actress. This year she's taking a challenge for playing two characters as twins in The Promise as Na Yeon, a cheerful yet tough woman and Do Hee, an ignorant yet brave woman.

I've never watched her drama before but since Come! Jang Bo Ri I like her to play as an antagonist. Even in The Promise, I'm looking forward to her role. She won't disappoint her fans as a villain. lol.

The Promise/Heaven's Promise tells about a woman who devoted her life to a man but got betrayed and she had to live as a single mother for her 5-year-old daughter. The man who loved her for 20 years left her for his ambition and greed. He was married to a rich family's daughter which the woman had been dumped from.

Hero tells about the story of a reporter for newspaper. Jin Do-Hyuk (Lee Joon Gi) was a reporter for a gossip magazine. His dream was to be a journalist like his father, who died when he was a kid. He wanted to work at Daese Ilbo, a well-known daily newspaper in Seoul. When he would like to interview Jo Yong Deok, a gang leader who had been imprisoned for 15 years, Jo Yong Deok asked him to join him to start his own newspaper named Yong Deok Ilbo. His purpose was to take revenge to Daese Ilbo. To fulfill his dream, Do Hyuk excitedly follow his plan. 

As a new newspaper office, they found hard times often. Especially when they had to deal with Daese Ilbo. The problem was getting complicated when Do Hyuk finally found out about the cause of his father's death.


This drama teaches us to catch our dream. No matter what obstacles in our way, we can go through it by our will, the support of the people who love us. It also sends the message that greed and grudge can be horrible when you let them grow in your heart.
