The poster shows the darkness of the story. And yes, the story is dark but not all the time though. It has comedy, romance yet thrilling action.
Cha Ji Won (Lee Jin Wook) was a symbol of perfection. He was a tall, handsome, bright and nice guy. He was a team captain of Navy Special Operations Force. He had a rich father, a cheerful sister, a dependable best friend and a beautiful fiancee. All looked perfect till one day, Ji Won found that his father was dead in Thailand. Ji Won had a military training in Thailand while his father had a business there. He was told that his father died because of drugs. He didn't believe but he didn't ask for an autopsy. In the middle of his investigation of his father's dead, he was accused to be a murderer. There was a CCTV footage showed he shot a Thai guy and he suddenly became a fugitive.
In the other hand, Ji Won's best friend, Min Sun Jae (Kim Kang Woo), was together with the real murderer of Ji Won's father. Sun Jae also picked up Ji Won's call when Ji Won's father was dying. Sun Jae's ambition to possess Sun Woo Group blinded his common sense. He worked together with Baek Eun Do to proceed the plan.
Ji Won didn't know that his best friend betrayed him. In order to run away, he committed a fake marriage, as Mr. Black, with Swan (Moon Chae Won), a Korean girl which lived in Thailand. Swan held a feeling towards Ji Won and so did Ji Won but he didn't realize it. He still thought that Swan reminded him to his little sister. He also thought about Ma Ri (Yoo In Young), his fiancee. Despite of the missing Ji Won, Ji Won's sister - Ji Soo - was also missing. Sun Woo group was headed by Min Sun Jae, replacing Ji Won and Ji Soo. Ji Won started to realize his best friend's betrayal when Sun Jae would like to shoot him. The empty warehouse was blown up and Ji Won's body wasn't found. Sun Jae told Ma Ri that Ji Won had died.
Five years later, Ma Ri married Sun Jae and lived in Ji Won's house. Sun Jae was preparing himself as a candidate of the chairman. Meanwhile, Swan was adopted by President Kim, Kim Ji Ryoon's mother. Kim Ji Ryoon's mother was Ji Won's father's junior. Kim Ji Ryoon was fond of Swan and brought her as his little sister. Swan worked as a reporter and one day she met again with Ji Won.
The return of Ji Won made Sun Jae worried, if what he had all this time would be returned to Ji Won. Ji Won got help from someone he knew in Thailand to avenge people who killed his father. In the middle of his revenge, he started to fall in love with Swan and build a relationship. Meanwhile, Swan slowly regained her lost memories and she found out that she was Baek Eun Do's daughter. She felt burdened of the fact that her father killed Ji Won's father and all evil deeds he committed. But, her memories recalled more, eventually. The memories that so cruel to her.
In my opinion, this drama is GOOD!! b^^d
Every scene brings tears to my eyes. It's so touching.
It doesn't only tell about unconditional love but also how friendship can be beautiful when we understand and accept each other.
All the actors and actresses are really great.
They never fail to impress me with their acting.
