This drama is based on a webtoon with the same title. It tells about Kim Sung Yeol, a human became vampire to beat another vampire who roled the Korean empire, named Gwi. Sung Yeol was a human and a best friend of Crown Prince Jung Hyun. Crown Prince Jung Hyun knew about Gwi's existence and would like to get rid of him. He wrote a secret book how to kill Gwi but Gwi already knew about it and killed Crown Prince Jung Hyun first. Kim Sung Yeol later became a vampire from Gwi's master bit him and handed over the task to kill Gwi to Sung Yeol.
After 120 years, Sung Yeol met Jo Yang Sun, a daughter of a nobleman who was accused as a traitor, the bookseller dressed as a man. Sung Yeol need Yang Sun's help to find the secret book of Crown Prince Jung Hyun. Yang Sun was also a childhood friend of Crown Prince Lee Yoon but she didn't remember about her past. The three of them must find a way to get rid of Gwi.
The journey to find the secret book will thrill you.
The sacrifice to protect someone you love, will bring tears to your eyes.
This drama is good overall, but the ending a bit unsatisfying.
The scriptwriter, the director, the actors and actresses can make you immerse to the story line. It shows the proof of love between family, friends, even lovers.
After all the hardships they went through just to vanish Gwi, a cruel (and hot :D) vampire, the way Gwi died is just too common. Haha.
Despite of the ending, this drama is still get 9 of 10 point from my view.
The choice of the actors and actresses really suits with the character.
