Remember the story of Jack The Ripper? An unknown serial killer who had murdered numerous women fiercely but no one knew who really he was. Gap Dong had the similar plot. It tells about a serial killer who had murdered some women. Moo Yeom (Yoon Sang Hyun)'s father was accused as Gap Dong, the name called for the serial killer 20 years ago. Because of the investigation, Moo Yeom's father killed himself.
Moo Yeom grew up with the intention to find the real Gap Dong. He worked as a detective to catch Gap Dong, but the statue of limitation had expired for the case. Moo Yeom thought that Gap Dong might die till one day the same serial murder appeared. What happened actually? Was Gap Dong still alive? or was it his perpetrator?
The only living victim had the memory of Gap Dong. She became the main key to reveal who was Gap Dong. Moo Yeom must regain his father's innocence. The real Gap Dong finally revealed and it was someone that Moo Yeom never imagined before.
This drama is really thrilling. There's a scene where Gap Dong whistled a song for playing hide and seek. It's actually a children's song but Gap Dong can make it sounds creepy. The thrill it brings makes your heart thumps and the twist is kinda unpredictable.
