[SERIES] SECRET GARDEN; Where Love Needs Common Sense

Welcome to the world of magic~
Secret Garden, a Korean drama which was aired in 2010, still has its magic to enchant its fans.

The story of Kim Joo Won (played by Hyun Bin), a CEO of a department store and Gil Ra Im (played by Ha Ji Won), a stuntwoman has captured million people's hearts. It's not an ordinary love story like another Korean dramas offer. Mixing the Cinderella story and a bit fiction of switching souls, Secret Garden stays lovable for its fans. The chemistry between Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won flutters female fans.

In my opinion, Secret Garden is my most favorite drama. Kim Eun Sook, the scriptwriter, succeeded making Kim Joo Won's character that steals women's heart. Not only the sweet things he did for Gil Ra Im but also the affection he showed.

Kim Joo Won is the most realistic male character in drama, I think. ^^
Despite of the cliche that can be found in most of dramas, the facts that Joo Won explained are the real thing in this world.

A rich guy won't marry a poor girl, such a bitter truth.
No matter how much he loved Gil Ra Im, he tried to deny his feelings though in the end he chose her as his wife. What I like from this drama is how doubtful Kim Joo Won to choose between his wealth and his love. Not like the other dramas which the male characters let the wealth and comfort easily just to be with the ones they love, Kim Joo Won struggled with himself. He tried to keep his dignity as a rich and kept saying how low Gil Ra Im's life compared to his. But heart can't lie. No matter how hard he tried to ignore his feeling, he always came back to look for Gil Ra Im. My most favorite line of Kim Joo Won is when he proposed Gil Ra Im. "If you wanna runaway, do it now for in 10 minutes, you can't turn back. There's no flower, no diamond ring, but still, will you marry me?" >_<
